Esports Entertainment Group Appoints Jeff Cohen as VP of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations
Esports Entertainment Group has named Jeff Cohen as its new Vice President of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations.
Cohen joins the company from Stephens Inc., a Wall Street financial institution, where he served as a stock market analyst specializing in the gaming and esports industry.
Before joining Stephens in 2017, Cohen was an analyst in the Equity Special Situations Group at Barclays.
“I am excited to join the Esports Entertainment team and look forward to contributing to our success in the rapidly expanding global esports industry,” Cohen said.
Esports Entertainment CEO Grant Johnson stated: “Jeff has been a leading expert in the gaming and esports sector, and his extensive knowledge and connections with key investors will be a valuable resource as we continue to implement our growth strategy.”
This appointment follows the company’s announcement earlier this month that it will finalize its acquisition of online betting and gaming operator Argyll Entertainment in late July, after the completion of a binding agreement.
This particular month, the esports entertainment firm joined forces with Akur Capital, a financial consultant, to assist them in locating additional companies for acquisition.
