The upcoming AffiliateCon Sofia, initially planned for May 12-13 in Sofia, Bulgaria, has been delayed until the corresponding dates in 2021 because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

This choice follows Bulgaria’s declaration of a state of emergency last Friday, effective until April, in reaction to the pandemic. Numerous gaming and affiliate marketing firms have also implemented travel restrictions for their staff.

AffiliateCon creator Julian Perry conveyed his regret, noting that this year’s gathering, two years in preparation, was poised to be a significant occasion for AffiliateCon within the gaming sector, with many brands already committed and numerous affiliates enrolled.

Considering the global health crisis, delaying was the sole prudent course of action.

Nevertheless, Perry declared that AffiliateCon will conduct a digital conference on May 12, 2020, showcasing several speakers initially slated for the in-person event. Further information regarding this online conference will be disseminated shortly.

The AffiliateCon team expresses apologies for any disruptions and pledges to make the following year’s event even grander and more impressive.
