Andrei Scrivens has been selected to helm Affinity Interactive as its new Chief Executive Officer. His tenure commences on January 1st, 2023.

Scrivens is well-acquainted with AI, having acted as their Chief Financial Officer since 2019. He takes over from Mary Beth Higgins, who is stepping down but will remain in a consulting capacity until June 2023 to guarantee a seamless handover.

James J. Zenni, Jr., Affinity Interactive’s Chairman, voiced his faith in Scrivens, emphasizing his critical part in establishing the company as a premier platform within the sector. Zenni foresees even greater achievements under Scrivens’ guidance, especially considering the escalating demand for digital and multi-platform casino offerings.

Scrivens’ proficiency in gaming ventures and management, cultivated through his extensive experience as both an investor and operator, will be indispensable as AI seeks to leverage this expansion. His background includes a pivotal contribution to the 2021 unification of Affinity Gaming and Sports Information Group, which birthed the current AI entity. Prior to joining AI, he dedicated seven years to Z Capital Partners, focusing on gaming and hospitality investments, and before that, he held a director position at Chilmark Partners.

Scrivens conveyed his eagerness for this new role, expressing his honor in leading AI during this dynamic phase of growth.

From my initial involvement in 2014, the team’s unwavering commitment and effort have continually amazed me. Mary Beth’s guidance in recent years has earned my appreciation, and I eagerly anticipate our progress as we expand upon the solid base she helped us create.”
